Spuds away at Wolves = not an easy games as most of the top 4 have found.

i agree but our form is patchy and with Spuds have a go attitude i think they will get more points than our approach - Fulham was a big game we fooked up in and Wigan aint exactly one of our nailed on games

the way I see it - 2 weeks ago we were 2 points ahead of Spuds, they had a game in hand.....now they're 3 points behind.

it's a concern because they have Bale, King, VDV, and Kaboul back in the next week or two.

I think we'll have to get 5 of 6 points in Merseyside to get 4th place.

Redknapp predicts City scrap
Spurs boss sees City as European rivals

Harry Redknapp feels the fight for fourth place in the Premier League has become a two-horse race between Tottenham and Manchester City.

Redknapp's Spurs have been battling Chelsea for the final UEFA Champions League spot of late, but the reigning champions displaced them in fourth on Tuesday after a 2-1 victory over Manchester United.

City once looked on course for title success but a recent dip in form has left them just two points ahead of the Blues and three ahead of Tottenham having played a game more than both teams.

Spurs boss Redknapp believes Chelsea are certain of European qualification and feels the fight for fourth place will come down to his side and Roberto Mancini's City.

Such a battle would be a repeat of last year's contest between the two, when Spurs pipped City to the spot to secure Champions League football for the first time in their history.

Redknapp said: "I don't see Chelsea not being in the top four. I felt before the Liverpool game, which they lost, that they could still win the league.

Strong

"If they had beaten Liverpool that day they would have been in a very strong position.

"They are a very strong outfit. I still think Tottenham can be in the top four, and I think it's between ourselves and Man City now."

Redknapp has been impressed with his squad's ability to juggle their league commitments with European football this season.

And the manager is confident his players are good enough to cope with what could be a hectic run-in if they beat AC Milan at White Hart Lane on Wednesday.

He added: "For us to be where we are in the league and to have had such a great season in the Champions League is a fantastic achievement so it hasn't affected us at all - we have managed to fight on both fronts and have done great."

Gutted...he thinks now we will miss out and is so confident they will make it.

I would like to silence this guy. Or do you guys believe we will miss out?

Not read all the replies, but there is nothing inaccurate, offensive or antagonistic in what he says there. I don't like Redknapp, but anyone who takes offence at that is a monumental mardarse who needs to grow a pair.

so were do chelsea come into this or are they to good to be behind us and we carry on and little ourselves?

Personally I fear Spurs more than Chelsea, but regardless does it really matter if Redknapp thinks Chelsea are better than us and his own club?!

Looking at it 'glass half full', I see us steaming up the table and challenging Arsenal for top spot (Utd will have fallen down to 3rd). Chelsea and Spurs left to fight over 4th and 5th. Glass half empty, we're 4th with Chelsea in 3rd and Spuds in 5th and the Arse are top! Let's nail that champions league place whatever.

Sometimes I just LMFAO at us City fans. We are third, above Chelsea and as long
as we keep winning our games that's at least where we'll finish. All those who
think twatknapp is right should be ashamed of themselves. Don't attempt to
come back at me with "just facing reality" because your not. Reality is what is, not
what might be. Get a grip, support your team and don't fucking stop and cave
everytime you read some shite from a scared rival or read a post from a rival fan.
We are Manchester City and we fear nobody. We are good enough to beat any team
in the Prem and beyond. 4th is between Spuds and Chelsea, end of story.

And we have Komps,DJ,Milner,AJ and possibly MJ back.

We have no excuses if we do not achieve at least 4th.
