I know Arry's abit of a twerp but come on, show some realisation people.
The club's he has left have found themselves in financial trouble. He is the common denominator in these teams. I'm sure there are varying factors at each club, but it is definite he is one of them. He will be the person who asks the board to sign all of these players. Look at Pompey:
2005 - Harry joins
£7m for Muntari
£7.5m for Defoe
£7m for Utaka
£6m for Nugent
£5.5m for Diarra
Those these don't look like much individually, this is £33m on 5 players. In the three years Harry was at Pompey, £68m was spent on players. For a club of Pompey's size, this is an obscene amount. Add to that he signed veterans looking for a final pay day like Kanu, Lauren, Andy Cole and Sol Campbell, and this is one hell of a wage bill for a team that aimed for survival.
Spurs pride themselves on their wage structure, and I must admit it is something that I admire. The way they attract players like Luka Modric and Rafael Van der Vaart without paying £200,000pw like us is brilliant. But I wonder how much of this is to do with what Comolli did, and what Levy does. I fear/hope that if Redknapp gets his way, then this could be trouble for Spuds.
