They seem to be taking the approach of slowly and gently releasing information that he's staying, making it obvious and letting the fans negative reaction get drawn out over a few weeks/months so that by the time he does announce (probably after a couple of positive results) everyone will just be resigned to it already.

Feel very confident that they'll finally drop out of the top 4 this season though, and have no idea how that'll go down.

Spot on.

Many of their current and ex players are coming out and supporting Wenger. Saying how great he is, what he has done for the club, etc. Wenger signing an extension is great news for every team competing for top 4.

Also don't think they'll make top 4 this season and might not make it next season especially with Sanchez leaving. He has 18 goals and 9 assists in the league which is amazing. Without him they would be much, much lower in the table. They will struggle to replace him.

Yeah, they'll lose Sanchez and keep Ozil but on a huge salary.

Which is hilarious to be honest as I don't think any club better than Arsenal would want Özil so if he manages to get a big wage bump they've been royally ripped off - but they can't afford for both to leave.

So,where is Sanchez going to go? Remain in England or move to Europe? it's a huge money move for some club to negotiate not easy to match players wage expectations.

haha saw some rumors that he is looking to double his wages. Ridiculous considering he goes missing in all the important matches.

We are in for some nice entertainment with Sanchez leaving, Wenger signing a new deal, Arsenal finishing outside the top 4. Can't wait.

He won't get the wages he's after at Juve or Bayern, although both clubs show more ambition which would solve the frustration part.

But is the frustration part worth a drop of 100K+ a week at his stage of career, interesting one.
