It all started to go wrong when David Devin left They allowed Wenger to run the place all very similar to the rags. American owners who don’t have a clue / only bothered about the bottom line. The squad is full of “wet lettuces” no back bone, a prima Donna in Ozil, who is on a massive contract, the way he strolled off the other night was a disgrace. The players were trying to get away without even acknowledging the fans who had spent a fortune getting there. The club is fucked unless they have a good youth policy or can spend multi- millions they will at best languish at best around 7th.

When you offer the Arsenal players a chance to hold a trophy

If the rumors about their transfer budget are true, they aren't making top four next season. They need a lot more than £40m + sales to improve the team. Giving Ozil that massive deal and letting Ramsey leave on a free when you know you don't have funds is awful planning on their part.
Perhaps the fanboy Arsenal fans who were slagging City off a few years ago will finally see the light and realise they have been taken for a ride by Stan Kroenke and his pals. It has been clear for years that their board is only interested in lining their own pockets. All the shite from Wenger about the new ground costs and "financial doping" from City was just a smokescreen. I feel sorry for the genuine hard-core Gooners who followed them, like we did with City, through thick and thin in the 70s and 80s.

Assuming the owners have given up on CL as the return does not justify the outlay in terms of making them nailed on top 4, they will probably be happy with finishing 7-10th. The Pl tv money isn't that much (£20-30m) less than top three and will require little investment . Add in income from the now paid for stadium and sponsorship and it's a nice little earner that they can probably bleed with minimal investment for another 5-10 years.

Kroenke is a not a good person, nor is he a good team owner.

Arsenal likely will end up being a mid table team as long as Stan Kroenke owns them.

Their players are wimps of the highest order. No matter who you get in as manager, they couldn't get half them wankers playing.
Their defence is laughable, wtf does Steve Bould do. He needs calling out more.
