Arsenal was one of the few grounds that had a Juniors turnstile for an away ground. Had to laugh that day as the “Juniors” ( or Under 16s) included those well into their mid 20s or even 30s, with some full grown beards, all chancing it to get in for half price. “ Are you sure you are only 15?!” Great day out spoilt only by the confusion that reigned as the team trotted out in canary yellow, and were then totally outclassed. For the last 20 minutes we outsang “the library” at 0-4 with We’re gonna win the League” and “You’re the s@%# of London Town” much to the bemusement of the cockneys.
