Arsenal(A) - Post Match Thread

Superb result against a very tricky side, didn't even get out of third gear. Come on Blues!
 
Annnnnnnnd we're off! Plenty would have been expecting us to slip up there for our first game, especially with Arsenal up for impressing a new manager. Not concerned with the performances much until we've got all first team back and up to speed. Great result.
 
Good result but the overall performance was a bit patchy, some sloppy passing not only gave them chances but also cost us good openings at the other end.
 
Great result. Very positive first 20 mins. Bit sloppy in the middle and good game management at the end.

Good time for them to play us and us them I think. A fully firing city would have beat them 4/0 today. Arsenal were disjointed and can only improve from that.

Thought Stones was excellent today. MOM for me. Good game from Sterling too.
 
I’d wager that come the end of the season, that won’t be in our top 40 performances. Yet we beat Arsenal away 2-0. Bodes well.
 
Perfect result. Not a great performance though...

I think there is a lot to be said for peaking at the right time so it’s totally understandable that we might be a little sluggish in our opening few games....so long as we are operating at peak fitness and performance when the season is properly underway I’ve got no issue with it.
 
Brilliant at times a tad sloppy at others but a win away at the Arse first game up with a clean sheet is bang on, lol at Tyler and Rag boy about our supposed time wasting the most Ironic thing I have heard for a while

Very good result, ok-ish performance. Fairly sloppy in the last 20 mins - put it down to rustiness/lack of match sharpness.
