Another little dig, the old under achievers in Europe line, you must enjoy sly and bt commentaries. Coming from a club whose long term manager used to see CL qualification as a good season. Your last European trophy was when?

That’s not a dig. I would genuinely like to see City win the CL and deserved for the quality of their football under Guardiola. I think it’d be a pity if you didn’t win the CL when you are at the top as you have been these past few years. It seems to me you’re determined to see slights when none are intended.

Similar to your club , dominated domestically but never lifted Big Ears , the hilarity is if Spurs had beaten Liverpool in the champs league final , would they then have been elevated above Arsenal's trophy laden history , the answer is absolutely not. Really dont get the obsession with the Champs league our support has never been enamoured with the competition hence we boo their anthem , we regard UEFA as a bunch of crooks along with their holy grail cup.

No, we didn’t win the CL and that was a disappointment, obviously but I tend to agree with you. I’ve been fortunate to have seen a lot of success at Arsenal in my lifetime so far and most clubs fans would love to have seen that. We are in a relative slump at the moment and hopefully under Arteta we will continue to progress but even if everything goes to plan, there’s no guarantee of success nor should there be. My hope would be to see us win the PL again, but who knows?

I'd even survive a draw tomorrow if only KDB and Gundo return to full fitness.
But, our confidence is flying right now and I can't see us beating ourselves
like last summer in the FA cup semi, when our lads were shitting the 1st Arteta meeting.

I’m guessing we won’t see both Gundo and KDB on the pitch with a crucial first leg due midweek.
The interesting thing for me will be if he is prepared to start without either on the pitch, when they are both only just fully recovered (or maybe not in Gundo’s case).

We are on an unbelievable run. It’s hard not to think we will win. And no matter what starting 11. confidence is sky high. With fans and players.

Than again Arsenal is probably one of a few that can create an upset. Sorry but I just need to state a downer. It’s in the system ever since 76.

Lets see what teams of the top half will drop points this weekend. Chelsea to be the first. Three of Liverpool, Everton,West Ham, Spurs, Villa and Leicester, or all six if they all draw.
