Think Arsenal are in a much better place now than when Arteta arrived and have some very good young players coming through. It's a question of time and how much he is given. Definitely needed a kick up the arse and a change of mentality. Thing with being on a winning run you know it can't go on forever but don't think the arse are going to be the team to stop us today, said it now watch us lose.

its been a funny few weeks starting with liverpool spurs everton all on paper hard games and we will defo drop points
but if we take 5 points we would have been happy and still top of the league ?

fast forward to today them 3 games was anything but hard 9 points and a couple of goals conceded and a 10 point lead
so arsenal away up next again on paper always a hard game with Arteta being boss ? but city are flying and the only thing is mid week in champions league ? this could be a stumbling block and players turning off and not wanting to get injuries or using up to much energy

pep and city never talk of looking ahead ? but pep knows champions league is the pinnacle for city and the players
am not saying for one minute coast the game and roll over and take one ? city squad is great and the team pep puts out today will be good enough to beat arsenal, but mentally in the back of the minds if the players in champions league and we need it more than today

the only thing i want from today is aguero playing ? maybe starting and then take him off or bring him on in the 2nd half. he needs game time and if we can get him match fit and scoring goals then city can bag the lot

Slowly but surely, the ghosts of City past are fading. You still see their shades in the match day thread when even a three nil lead can be dismissed if the opposition gets a corner ffs.
Every prematch thread will have dire warnings, "this is going to be a really tough match they will be fighting for revenge /survival etcetera. Until us old-timers have been replaced with fans that have missed out on the pre-Sheik era , "typical City" will be part of the conversation. Long may it be so.......

I’ve got a bad feeling about today :)

Four to the good by the 87th min and we breathe. I'll settle for what Swindon Town got yesterday - a 10th min own goal and a 90+4 winner!
