The only worry I have is us missing Rodri. We rely on him a lot. Still fuming when I think how he got his marching order. There was no need at all. So far we lost both games without him but both were games we could’ve won. Easily tbh.

Anyways i hope and sort of expect Pep to come up with a solution. If Haaland has his scoring boots on and the defence shows the concentration and ruthlessness they have, i expect a positive result.

It’s early days yet but I’d love us to sit top tomorrow night. And the rest of the season tbf. If only to piss off the red shirt loving media and their “knowledgeable” pundits.

You might catch one or two with that tripe. Made it too easy by saying “humiliating”.

Humiliating us ? What a deflected equaliser in the 11th minute of injury time ( how many games have got anywhere that amount this season)
Then a win on penalties
Perhaps the more humiliating facts are there 4:1 loss at the Etihad in their must win title match and no wins in 12 matches
 
Martinelli is less of a miss for us vs City than Saka would be. Martinelli is quality and rapid but Kyle Walker would negate that and his replacement Trossard is only a small step down in quality if you take the pace side out of it which becomes redundant vs Walker anyway.

But Vieira for Saka is a huge drop down in quality. It's like replacing Rodri with Phillips. Even Emile Smith Rowe is a poor replacement. Saka cutting in from the right and shooting/crossing is a big weapon although to be fair Ake had him in his pocket last season.

Forget it mate, he says the same shite of predicting a 1-1 score line and talking up the opposition every week, obviously on the wind up but it’s become tiresome because he does it every wk.
