I know we're not playing well ATM, but we won't get a better chance to progress in all honesty. Fair play to Wenger. (Arsenal team below?)

Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger has revealed that he will stick with the youngsters for next month’s crunch Carling Cup clash at Manchester City.

The Frenchman has no qualms about the challenge his Gunners’ will face at Eastlands, with Mark Hughes’ already saying that he’ll put out a full strength side for the match on December 2nd.

In the competition so far, Wenger’s youngsters have triumphed against West Brom and Liverpool.

“[It will be] Interesting, exciting and a good test,” he told Arsenal TV Online.

“We will be faithful to our policy and of course put a team out who has a good chance to win the game.”

The Frenchman also expressed his view that any side capable of winning a tie should be considered a ‘full side’.

“If you call a full side 11 top players, then we will play a full side,” he said. “For me a full side means a team who has a chance to win any game.”

One player who is likely to be involved is Mexican starlet Carlos Vela. The 21-year-old’s most notable performances last season came in the Carling Cup, and according to reports, he is close to signing a new contract with the club.

Gooner Talk’s Predicted Line-Up:

Looking at that team, i honestly think if we can play like we know to our ability we can win this match comfortably.

That's still a top young line up but experience may play a part in the match, only Silvestre has that, i expect us to beat them with us being at home.

I don't believe a lot that is written on this website, let alone what's written on someone else's, I will wait to see what team Arsenal turn about before getting all excited.

If we play the shitty 4-4-2 we'll get slaughterd. Hopefully with Robinho back he will switch back to 4-3-3 and we should see them off.

I'll be embarrassed for many many weeks if we lose to them.
I remember Asrenal scoring 6 against Liverpool at Anfield not so long ago.

Whatever team they put out will be a very good side. But I'd fancy our chances of beating that line-up. Their central defence will be their weak point - unless they play their 1st team regulars in that position

Also confirmed here, with quotes from Wenger.

Full team, full house. Should pull us through.
