Apologies for not making another Rooney thread but watching Arsenal tonight makes me think we're in for a tough game at weekend.

Despite Wilshere being suspended...

- Fabregas is back and looks great.
- Walcott is fit again and coming on.
- Bendtner is back and on the bench.
- Arsenal have barely broken a sweat and are 4-0 up so won't be too tired.
- Their weekend starters will have more rest than ours.

I feel with Kolo injured we could have some real problems against Arsenal unless our midfield gives a Chelsea-esque performance and De Jong isn't afraid to go in hard.

But if we can beat this Arsenal team like last season we're in an amazing position!

My thoughts were this

Shakhtar were utter gash with no ambition
Keeper gifted 1st goal - until then they looked ordinary
Fabregas was ambling around upfront coz it was clear he couldn´t hack 90 intense mins in midfield

We should fear no-one - 4-5-1 and strangle the life out of them then bang, on the break with Silva , AJ and Carlitos

If only we had Rooney

TBH i fancy us more against the arsenals of this world that let us play rather than the stokes that try and swarm all over us.

we're fucked if we've got to play 2 arsenals

You needed this match to realise we have a tough game? I'm really not sure why people now expect us to smash them every time we play them, just because we've done it over the last couple of seasons. Most neutrals would say Arsenal are better than us. I mean... just look at them! Incredibly tough game on Sunday.

I agree, this one dosen't looks good, at least they don't have van persie but fabregas back and with shak in a poor version of City's 3rd kit, this could be and omen, happy with a draw with this one, tho arse hate coming to the Northwest rember last season ....
