Arsenal (H) | Post Match Thread

Imo that is not a penalty or at least shouldn't be. A few years ago I was livid because Liverpool got a penalty for something similar (as far as i remember).

Imo the rule should be that if you get between the ball and a player and they kick you then it's a foul against them. As long as Party didnt (without doubt) kick or stand on DeBruyne's right foot then he should be given the benefit of the doubt.

Just my opinion.
He doesn’t get the ball he gets then man, penalty all day long even all the pundits said it and they give us fuck all.

Refs are not biased. If you take a step back and assess that every single team thinks refs give them nothing then maybe you have to conclude that mistakes are made, but they are not intentional there’s certainly no conspiracy.
What a load of fluffy poppycock.

Everyone has a degree of subjective bias. It's called human nature. Even Supreme Court Justices - like it or not.

It’s clear and obvious from the above posts that what’s clearly and obviously right to some people is clearly and obviously wrong to others. It’s therefore clear and obvious to me that the “clear and obvious” rule is clearly and obviously debatable.
What do you mean?
Could you clarify please?

Still can't get over the win yesterday hahaha. KDB produced arguably the best performance in PL history. Haaland also very complete performance. Grealish cooked Ben White. Gundogan found space between the lines a lot and helped us progress the ball. Akanji kept Saka quiet surprisingly.

The thing which impressed me the most was how we controlled space off-the-ball. Martinelli was only limited to 11 touches and Saka did nothing of note. Best defensive performance of this season for me. I don't even remember Arsenal getting into zone 14 lol.

Pep changed the build-up from 3-2-4-1 to 4-2-4 in this game to have overloadAkanji and it did wonders. This is the first time we played like this the entire year. Either we had a spare man in back 4 or KDB was free b/w the lines. Pep used De Zerbian principles of baiting the press to then create artificial transitions. We had KDB and Haaland - 2 of the best players EVER in transitions.
I know Kev was out on his own, but I like to acclaim players of lesser capability. All the talk was we would miss Nathan Ake up against Saka, then Akanji steps up and the join was seamless. He got my MOTM.
