Arsenal post match thread

Is it Mancini all over again on that cup final day?

The players know Pelligrini us going.

Or is that a very, very , poor excuse by me?

Shite performance, shite defending, shite away support.

After the De Bruyne chance we never looked interested. We need to stop starting an unfit Aguero and bring him on. Start with a fit player ffs. Don't get me started on the defence, it should have been 6 by the 65th minute.

WTF? we should have been 2-0 before they scored. We have a bang average manager. We should have started with Sterling instead of Sergio and possibly Navas than KDB. This could get a whole lot worse.

When she's finished Andre Marriner can have go the ****..

Not stale, but he's second guessed himself too much this season. Too many half and half team selections. Should've played KDB/Silva/Navas behind Raheem with Toure and Dinho in a midfield two.

It's all gonna be moot come the summer, but it's disappointing that he's going out trying to compromise for the sake of results.

When will the manager and some fans realise that you CAN'T play Yaya in a midfield 2 against any opposition with quality. Forget his goal the gaping gaps on the left, and amateurish defending in the first half cost us. It was over before we started playing. When I saw the team I thought he would start with Delph alongside ferdy but should have known Pellers is a f'in idiot.

I was threatening to bottle this game by not watching it.
However went to the pub watched it and I thought we were good for 30 mins, Kdb missed a chance on 30 and then Walcott scored a wonder goal.
Fair enough but then on 45 mins Mangala does his party piece and we're chasing the game which is why we lost our shape in the second half, chasing the game.
Got a goal and then could have equalised.
No blame on Uncle P this time, Mangala's moment of madness cost us.
Worries though with Sergio's performance and Wilf's ( non) contribution when he came on.
Navas not shooting was another major negative.

The players must know the new manager is watching them so surely it wouldn't be in there best interest not too try. Poor tactics and some players who aren't good enough in my opinion

Our defence has been poor this season outside of those first 5 games but what about our attack?

How many chances are we having in games yet struggling to score?

Good possession today but very little intention in the passes.

It's not like last season when despite being poor defensively we had Aguero getting is out of trouble and winning us matches, we haven't had that this season.
