Has Gazidis told you how we'd love to be in your position right now?


But on a lighter note, what kind of players would you like to see Arsenal bring in over the summer? Any names mentioned that aren't all over the papers? And, of course, is RvP staying?
 
Arsenal need to unload a hell of a lot of deadwood: Squillaci (most obvious one, stealing a living), Arshavin, Park, Mannone, Diaby (will never not be injured), Chamakh.

I think a strong holding midfielder like M'Vila and some goals from midfield from somebody like Dempsey would benefit Arsenal.

We really need a new attacking midfielder. There was chat about Hernandes from Lazio but I cant really comment on him because I haven't seen him play. Also Giroud and M'Vila are linked to us and Wenger was quoted confirming his interest in unnamed French internationals so that might actually happen. We were also linked to Kagawa but there is no chance that he would pick us over United.

I think van Persie will stay even if he doesn't sign a new contract.

Our biggest problem is ditching the deadwood, theres so many players on high wages that are no where near good enough for another club to take them on. We need a new keeper to give competition to Szczesny because despite his obvious talent he seems to have lost concentration and isn't yet as good as he thinks he is.

Santos is good competition for Gibbs and left back is hardly a major problem. There is absolutely no way that Mertesacker should go, he's a very reliable defender and had a good partnership with Koscielny. I agree with the others as long as Giroud for example comes in to replace Chamakh and Bendtner.

Arteta was one of our players of the season and you've dropped him for Ramsey?
