Watched a bit of Rangers vs Arsenal.. by god the gulf in class was incredible. Rangers (and the SPL) has fallen even further than I imagined. I thought they'd hold their own and put up a bit of a fight, but they looked like a lower level championship side, couldn't string two passes together.

Funniest thing is, they drew 2-2. Arsenal conceeded two goals from set pieces, classic Arsenal!

Didn't Hibs beat Arsenal last week in a friendly as well? Haha!
SPL may well indeed be shite but it's great to see them find their level.

Arsenal should have scored about 8 goals as well, Auba alone missed a hat trick of sitters.

When you see where SPL clubs buy their players from and sell them to, then mid table championship level is about right

Absolutely. Lincoln City won the National League in 2017 and a player named Alan Power moved on to Kilmarnock. He earned player of the year award there and racked up a couple hundred appearances, despite playing in (until that season) a perennial underachieving National League outfit for 6 years prior.

Have had to cancel their pre season tour.
Covid related
Got a feeling this season could be even more disrupted than the previous two at this rate. Think there will be loads of outbreaks across the league once all the players return from holidays.
