You look elsewhere in sport in motor racing, the two most successful teams recently in f1 are funded by a car manufacturer in Mercedes and an energy drinks company in Red Bull.
What’s wrong with having ambitious owners who enter a sport to shake up the monopoly of other teams? It’s what keeps it interesting, or should the likes of Mansour or Abramovich not have bothered and left it all to United to win it every year?
