I hate the dippers but it's making me laugh seeing them laughing at Arsenal fans during this run-in - they're coming across as borderline relieved that they don't have the stresses of having us breathing down their necks for once.

Arsenal fans waiting for us to slip-up and dippers essentially saying good fucking luck. Love it.
It's interesting isn't it. They really were battered by us. I suspect they have life affecting PTSD from City beating them so harshly. Twice.

I'm actually a touch surprised that Arsenal's fans heads have gone as quickly as they've gone. We are barely in the "run in" (I'd actually say it only starts properly after they've played us).

I know we have a fair few number of flappers, but you get the sense their whole fanbase has chucked the towel in.

I think a lot of people (ourselves included at times) forget the world cup break and how much football there still is to be played.

If you look at successful teams with sustained success all of them will have been bank rolled with investment at some point. Liverpool were funded via Littlewoods, United were floated on the stock exchange to raise money and they bought Taggert a team that would have cost a lot more than any team built today when you factor to in inflation. You look elsewhere in sport in motor racing, the two most successful teams recently in f1 are funded by a car manufacturer in Mercedes and an energy drinks company in Red Bull.

What’s wrong with having ambitious owners who enter a sport to shake up the monopoly of other teams? It’s what keeps it interesting, or should the likes of Mansour or Abramovich not have bothered and left it all to United to win it every year?

These Arsenal supporters get a whiff of a trophy and they get on their high horses when they have a set back. Prior to this we’ve heard them all crying about how badly run the club was since they’ve moved away from Highbury and had to pay for the Emirates.
Football has always refracted the era of capital that it is played in. From factory and mill owners in the 1890s to middle Eastern investment funds today. It's literally the wrong sport to follow if you want the purest of pure gentleman amateurism, and has been since about 1883.

maybe they understand better the mental fragility the team has

All these arsenal fans crying about spending. Hypocrites of the highest order. Still bitter about us nicking all your players and your top 4 spot.

Oh yeah kroenkes out lol oh wait your top of the league it's all gone quiet. Muppets

These cunts really unbelievable, "No oil money" while wearing his emirates sponsored top ;-)

Plus ypu tarquin cunts last time you started challenging in 88 it was funded by blood diamonds which to me is worse

I never understand why “oil money” is an issue? Outside of tech, most of the worlds wealthiest people are rich because of natural resources.

Oil money just seems to be a thinly veiled xenophobic word for Arab or Muslim money.

Doesn’t Kroenke have 1000’s of oil wells?

It seems oil is fine if you’re plundering it from Texas or destroying the wilderness in Northern America. But some how evil if there from the middle east.

It isn't really is it mate, it's anti anything American that they are trying to control, our fan bases around the country fall for it hook line and sinker and do their dirty work for them.
