my missus came home from work and in conversation about some lady who was a patient of hers was talking about work and time off between xmas and new year,the lady works at asda in ashton and said that they are not allowed to book any time off from the beginning of december till the end and especially between xmas and new year but anyone of indian or pakistani origin may do so to go back home(home???ie back to the sub continent???,more like sat on their arses at asda's busiest time of the year),how can a company discriminate like this?? its a bastard joke...

listen a bloke at our place had no holidays left and fucked off HOME for two weeks for haj, when he got back he kicked off saying it was a religous festival, end result, work bottled it and just didn t pay him for the time off and guess what i m in xmas and boxing day although someone has offered to let me have their boxing day, when i mentioned that xmas day was a part of my religion i was told that i m a trouble causer and to watch what i m saying, guess what i work for a large company that has a union and they backed the other bloke for going HOME
