I'd rather have called myself Haydock blue,it's nicer than St Helens.

My mum still there mate.Gets a bad press but a lot of great people there as in most towns and Cities-Only ruined by a few scummers

Correct, great Salford people in 50s 60s and70s when i was growing up, cant comment on what they are like now not been for 30 years

I know some **** who is ashamed of where he's from though. He grew up round here with me and whilst I chose the school - work route, he went into the military. Went to some college in Nottingham and then onto Sandhurst. He described himself as being from a village not too far from Saddleworth to his new, posh fuck mates, rather than saying he was from Moston, Manchester. He felt it sounded more well-to-do. Since then he's also said how he would never be able to bring himself to drinking with the people he grew up with, because we're not on the same level as him. What a cock. We're convinced he now uses words like 'chap', drinks port and smokes cigars in his study, possibly whilst listening to Mozfuckingart.

I like listening to Mozart but I'm also happy to say we could run faster than the parkies in Boggart Hole Clough!
