    I removed 3 ticks off our Cats yesterday, little bastards (The ticks not the Cats) if these Hornets eat ticks we should import more of the buggers :)

    Of no surprise there's even more doom in the media...we get this every year.
    Hornets are evil sods however...

    government have been tracking reported sightings and destroying nests where they have been found. There are also plants native to here that are doing a job on them. Still a threat and our bees have a hard enough time as it is, but we're doing what we can.

    Indeed. Wasps, spiders, hornets, midges I couldn't give a toss about. Ticks freak me the hell out. I remember seeing a story of a kid who had one dug deep into his scalp the size of a malteaser. Horrible things are ticks.
