My most anticipated game of the year just about to play it (waiting for PS3 updates) can't wait to see what happens after what happened with Desmond in the end of Revelations!!

Assassins Creed is easily in my top 3 of all time best ever games defiantly UbiSofts best ever games and the reason why I'm looking forward to Watch_Dog next year as well..

revelations ended with desmond stating he knew what he had to do and then a cut scene showing a world in the future falling apart.

its also a well known fact that desmond as been binned in the AC3 for a character called conner

my theory is there will maybe be an AC4 set in modern times with connor and maybe desmond meeting at the end of AC4.

then an AC5 set in the future with both connor & desmond playing the lead roles

either that or i'm a saddo who reads too much into my games ;p

go on then ???
The writers have said Desmond features far more in AC3 than any previous game and his story will finish here, with a good "pay-off" i.e. his story will be resolved here.
Yes I can confirm Desmond is still in it and you start off as him, The Connor guy you're referring to shady is actually the assassin you play as I think but at the moment I'm some sort of noble English man!!

Hate that you console kiddies get your hands on it first still. Well, at least the gap is smaller this time.

Haha I would of gotten it on my PC had I not already had Assassins Creed 1, 2 and Brotherhood on PS3 so I kinda just carried on the tradition.

Wish I did have it on the PC though because visually the game looks incredible on the PS3 but it's missing that one thing that the PC can push beyond!!

Great twist when you stop playing as haythan.
Anyway. It's 10/10 for me so far. Storyline is brilliant as usual and the fighting and freerunning have vastly improved.
I do miss the urban streets of renaissance Italy but they have made the mix of natural environments and developing towns fit into the AC style of play.
