why was foden not replaced? for Alverez
Phil was poor again
Phil was poor again
He made good saves during this game, especially a one-on-one - he’s clearly one of best in the league at those. Maybe he’s not the greatest shot stopper of all time but our trophy cabinet suggests he is good enough. All other aspects of his game are outstanding.Ederson couldn't stop a bowling ball rolled at him by a 5yo!
Tony Coton, Nicky Weaver and Keith McCrae…….it would have even beaten those three. There wasn’t time for him to move anywhere before the shot was past him.
Unless you can improve reaction times to that of an Olympic sprinter, no keeper is touching that shot.
Think everyone’s thinking the same thing. Surely only a matter of time before Foden’s used from the bench.why was foden not replaced? for Alverez

Nah! We owe themVery sloppy - look very tired.
Spurs will probs do us next week too.
We have had a fairly good run of fixtures so far but despite picking up the points esp against the promoted sides, i don’t think we have been that great. The upcoming fixtures will be more of a test but if we keep putting in these sort of performances we will drop quite a few points.Very sloppy - look very tired.
