O'Reilly needs game time! Our midfield is bobbins and has zero legs to cover the ground, O'Reilly can at least offer us that.

Really tough to see how we are going to win this game, Last season they absolutely throttled us at Villa Park, Hopefully they play nowhere near that level.

He'll just shuffle his 'first team' squad again, it's got to point that there's no need for them to even be on the bench, they're not ever getting on let alone starting.

These players and others over the years should have had plenty of game minutes when we were coasting on the top of our game but no, we'd either keep the starting 11 out or bring on a regular.

villa will play like its a champions league final and haaland will be benched, those are my two predictions for the match

I genuinely wouldn't start him. At the moment he's a square peg in a round hole. I think a game or two on the bench could focus his mind and it'll give our powder puff midfield more control. I dont think Pep will do it though. A week to prepare gives us the slimmest of chances as apposed to none at all.

He's hardly had a chance to settle into the team this season, give the lad a chance. Now, there have been many who have been given a chance and have delivered absolutely nothing. Play Jack in the middle again, that looked like it is as the way forward, until Pep decided to drop him the very next game

Villa have been in awful form too but they'll wipe the floor with us. The rags were fucking awful yesterday. To create chances against us you just have to pass and move which they do pretty well.

Play the kids and see if any of them make a difference.

By winning football matches. We aren't playing well and on top of that we aren't getting the rub on the green in any games either...Hopefully we get a scruffy win on Saturday and we'll go on some sort of run.

I was hoping that would happen after we beat Forest by unfortunately it's not happening.

They have to dig in and ride this storm out.
