Not wanting to be a doom monger but I agree,obviously you can’t legislate for players getting injured and so forth but on paper that line up will struggle in my opinion,yes you can’t win every game but all the good work of results away at Leicester,Chelsea and red scousers can start to be undone if you fail to get something in these type of games ..

The team is fine, we're playing Villa not Bayern, should be more than good enough to beat them, No excuses for not taking 3 points. how many of their squad would get in our side ahead of that lineup?

The likes of sterling and mahrez have to step up, not be content with being fine and look to be a match winner. Jesus is in good form, but cancelo and Bernardo are our only two match winners from that, time for somebody else to prove their worth.

And do you think they change their game plan which they've worked on since Sunday at the last second?

I think any advantage a manager can find they will take and they probably have a couple of plans dependent on the opponents final line up.

We have a nucleus of 17/18 first class players who will step in and do a job , when Pep named the team against PSG last week this forum was full of pessimism , and were proved wrong . If Ake , Dinho and Zinchenko start it will still be a very strong team ,Ake is a solid defender but offfers little offensively he isnt a poor player just not as good as the three excellent centre backs we already have , Dinho is coming to the end of his career but he wont be taken for a mug by any opposing midfield player even at 36 as for Zinchenko he was superb against PSG and i cant remember the lad ever having a stinker and letting us down.
So for all the glass half empty bluemooners , give it a rest , the rest of the league would give their right arm for a playing squad anywhere near our quality , Villa will be defending for their lives tonight and we will dominate the game , unless something daft happens and we get a man sent off there is no chance we are losing tonight , and Slippy G would take a draw right now ,if offered.
