That’s a bit more fucking like it. Would be surprised if the leaked team is correct but even so the amount of shitting themselves people do on these prematch threads is ridiculous. Think I’ll wait and see how it pans out
 
Don’t think Slippy will risk trying to beat us offensively. They’ll get mullered.
He will have seen how a few teams have set up and frustrated us.
I expect them to have a 5-4-1 or 5-5 as soon as we get the ball. They’ll defend narrow and in numbers. It’s going to be up to us to move the ball quickly and decisively in the final 30 yards. If we put our chances away, we SHOULD win this. We create more than enough yet constantly fluff the easiest.
Berni needs a rest, but who do we put in his place??

Shitting it is what we do best. A few years of success can't totally eradicate the 35 years of mediocrity and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, or something like that. We're doomed I tell you, doomed!

We have more than enough depth to deal with Villa. They all know how to play the Pep way, it’s just a matter of putting the ball away. If we control the ball and make them chase it, they’ll eventually get ground down.
We MUST take our chances though. I don’t think we will get many tonight as they’ll defend in numbers. It’s time for us to step up and give Slippy a damn good slap and put him and the giddy idiots in their place.
