Pleased with that. Not the best of conditions, not at our imperious best yet, injuries hampering our cause and not the easiest of opponents. A job well done in the end. Eddie wonderful, Sterling so important to us, Cancelo starting to look good. Agree with many on here that we need to see more of Foden (hardly a controversial view). All in all, a sound, solid early afternoon’s work.

I like @karen7 , and I am slowly coaching her on some of the finer points of the game. Like Gundodan is a player, and can play with D .Silva, struggle with Jesus because of the cheek thing.(and Sergio.)
And even though she called me a dick, took that as a compliment. She has a good basic understanding though.

However really stupid from Ferna and completely unnecessary

Think it will only be a one game ban as its two yellows and not a straight red.

On the other point - you can see why fans are tempted to jump on the pith and punch Grelish (Though of course I would never condemn such actions) - he is a horrible little shit and you can tell by his reactions to decisions he is full of himself and entitled as well. He cannt hold a a candle to Foden when it comes to ability

Not sure why it’s deemed ‘stupid’ from Fernandinho. If we’d been 1-0 up when he did it would you have said the same? Like Foden in the week, these lads are all winners and would hardly ever be able to take the match situation into account and nor would I want them to.
As a nice Brucie bonus, he’d have been rested on Tuesday anyway...

Hes prob their best player, so we really didnt want a second yellow given they play the Scousers next

Went to the game today, thoroughly enjoyed seeing the seals thumped 3 nil.
Spent some time watching grealish who had a couple of nice moments, but for the most part behaved like the luxury player/plays in patches/points a lot/over hyped/floppy haired/tiptoe running/snide arsehole he is. There was a clear kick out/stamp on Silva that went unpunished after he had already been booked.
Thought City won it quite easily & barely needed to get out of 2nd gear.
Sterling was immense & pretty much tortured his defender for the duration of his game. Thought Gundogan had a fine game & there was a couple of very good saves from Ederson.
The villa fans did a great job of reminding us all how they are another club living in the past, singing about empty seats, “where were you when you were shit” & the fooking european cup win from 37 years ago!
Embarrassing small time twats who have such an over inflated opinion of their club. You would think that having just got back from the championship, they would be a little more self aware that they are not the footballing super power they seem to think they are.

Common sense from someone who can see what happened.. But even in real time I thought Sterling standing in front of the keeper had to be blocking his view of the ball, so no goal.

only if hes offside which he wasnt when kev hit the ball but would have been off if they thought silva touched it last and var decided silva didnt touch the ball so sterling was onside and therefore couldnt be interfering with play or the goalkeeper, hope that clears it up
