Not at all,but given Cancelo isn't prone to brain farts,the liklihood is diminished.

If you are suggesting Cancelo on the basis of what he brings to our all round game, most would agree with you but if it is strictly about keeping a brilliant attacker quiet, I would readily trust Walker over Cancelo to do that job brain farts or not.

Walker has been our go to man for stopping counters which we are very prone to and has done the job creditably for a fair few years now and Cancelo has not even done that for up to a full year yet.

He hasn’t looked the same since his injury but he can whip crosses far better than any of our full backs .

Play back all the games this year & tell me exactly how many times he hit a City player, I bet you don't find 4 great passes its either to the opposing team or in the stand on the opposite side

If Villa win their 3 games in hand (this is one of them) then they would be above us in second.

They are without a doubt the best side we have faced in the league for a few months and while they've had disruption from covid, they've also had more than 2 weeks rest and time to prepare for us.

They dont have 3 games in hand on us and this certainly isnt more difficult than Chelsea, Southampton or Scum away.

Villa are a good team.

Well organised, drilled, good work ethic, and some decent individual players.

It depends on which Villa turn up.

Rested and fresh, but haven't played a competative match for a while.

Some of our players might be feeling the recent run of matches.

City just need to keep the same style of play and intensity up.

Think Villa will score, but I think City will win.

2-1 or 3-1.(hopefully)

KDB, Gundogan and Bernardo were all taken off last game, so I assume they start. Which means one of Sterling and Jesus gets rested. I will assume Jesus as he continues to get up to top speed following Covid. So perhaps KDB false 9 again? Other position is between Zinchenko and Walker. I’d prefer Zinchenko as Cancelo is too good on the right.

This is my team. I think Pep though will play KDB in the middle with Mahrez on the right.
