Well they last played a league game 3 weeks ago, good or bad we will find out tomorrow.Any news on how fucked their squad is?
I invited my mate up from London to watch it as an one-off.i was there that day, 500 mile round trip for an abandoned game
That header at goal that lead to Stone’s second was a bullet.Dias has come close a few times now - can only be a matter of time before he heads home a corner or free-kick, surely ?
Mind you, I probably thought the same about Stones when he signed & it took him 94 league games !
Pretty much everyone of note available:Any news on how fucked their squad is?
Villa posted this on their Twitter earlier today ...
And then one of the poster from Villa Talk forum has this post citing the above tweet:
Looks like nearly everyone key is in training
And another one posted this:
From those pics...

And this is what their manager had to say for City at his presser today:
A win is a must to keep the pressure on the rest. A clean sheet will be a huge bonus and a confidence boost.
We could make this 6 wins in a row!
2-1
Four years ago v Borussia Monchengladbach.I thought that was a thing of the past in the premier league with all the new pitches.
I don't remember the last time I saw a game cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.
Plus, even if the drainage isn't up to it, can't they drag a tarp over it before it starts pissing down?
I seem to remember a champions league game at the Etihad being postponed around 4/5 years ago due to the rain. Pretty sure it was rearranged for the evening after.I thought that was a thing of the past in the premier league with all the new pitches.

Gladbach, that was the roads around the ground and safety of supporters not the pitch though. Weather was great when we finally arrived half hour before kick-off for it to be cancelled.I seem to remember a champions league game at the Etihad being postponed around 4/5 years ago due to the rain. John Stones didn’t gift them an equaliser we were 2-0 up when he tripped over.Having re-watched the League Cup from last year recently I wouldnt mind if he put Foden on the right - he murdered them from out there. Sterling was on the left and we could go with Jesus up front. They were shit scared of us until they had to throw everything at us last 5 - 10 minutes. They only had a sniff because Johnny Stones had fallen over and gifted them an equaliser. Still it took a worldy save to win it for us without ET.
Sterling for Torres for me. Otherwise completely agreeEderson
Cancelo Stones Dias Zinchenko
Fern Gundogan Kdb
Silva Torres Foden
3 nil City !
Wasn’t that because of the danger of the electrical storm?Four years ago v Borussia Monchengladbach.
Poll? was quite happy to play on in awful conditions when we were 0-1 until Vonk put us 2-1 up and then it was straight off.The last one I remember was 1993/4 season against Ipswich, funniest goal scored that day when the ball stopped in a massive puddle.
