People say (some chinese people that is) that if Tony Xia is around it´s state money being used.. If true it´s a strategic investment by China itself in some way.. a bit like Manchester perhaps

Seems to be a bit unclear as to who the guy is and where the money is coming from. Normally I'd wish most clubs well and hope it works out for them but as it is Villa, I hope it turns out badly and they drop a division or two more.

Former Chelsea manager Roberto di Matteo has been appointed the new manager of Aston Villa.

The Italian succeeds Remi Garde, who was sacked in March before the club's relegation from the Premier League.

Di Matteo, who won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2012, will be assisted by former Blues team-mate Steve Clarke.

Good signing Di Matteo, however he has a huge job on his hands, a squad woefully unfit for purpose, no players in the squad with experience at that level and a whole load of tat premaddonas, going to be a tough task. They are paying some fucking wankers a shed load of money. Heard a story about NZogbia, that he was spending weekends in Miami since the new year, as wasnt needed for match days, they were paying him £60k a week for the privilege as well, he has gone on a free transfer. Just one example of the shysters and cunts Villa have had playing for them this season.

I think Micah will, his decline is obvious and has been for 4 years, there's not much love for either from Villa fans, but I think Lescott would be worth keeping, he didn't become shit overnight, slow yes, but shit no.
