...Did you break down and cry, if you did?

I remember the goal celebrations but cant remember the goal after that, as soon as the celebrations were over after the goal that was me gone, broke down, and was like some sort of uncontrolable tap with water just streaming down my face til about 15 mins after the final whistle.

What an incredible emotion

i filled up when i realised we were 15 minutes away from winning the fa cup

then at full time i was completely gone lol

I shed a tear when Yaya scored because my little lad was so ecstatic!

And then another when the final whistle went!

Pure relief I think!

You soft fookers............i did get a bit of grit in my eye that made them water just as Carlo lifted the trophy.......honest

My 13 year old lad was born a blue , suffered from the taunts of hoards of rags all through primary school.
Had to put up with the shite served up by Pearce
Had to endure cup exits to the likes of chesterfield, brighton and the balloon gate farce.

I'd watched the final in the pub. he'd watched it at a mate's.
He came in through the door in the evening and just came over and gave me a hug and said "we did it , Dad !"

Lumpy throat time !!!!

started with abide with me (was one of the hymns at dads service) then at the final whistle, gave dads photo a kiss which I took for luck.Dad had been to every final since 1955.Loved that banner behind me which said for all those departed,in Life and Death Manchester City or something like that.

When we lifted the cup I was about to cry but I didn't and I just enjoyed the celebrations but during the last 10 minutes I could barely watch, knowing that we were 10 minutes away from the FA Cup trophy. At the end I was emotionally drained but that is the whole fun of supporting City

I cried my bloody eyes out at the final whistle. No shame in admitting it, I've always been a cryer ;)
