Gundog for me, not particularly eye catching but sets the tempo and positionally excellent reducing risk of counters

Thought the back four and deBruyne were all excellent. Thought Foden and Grealish were very effective when they came on.

I thought the rest were under par. The midfield’s passing was poor first half, and Sterling and Mahrez were on a hiding time nothing trying to cut inside against an XI man defence. They were hopeless but they weren’t the right choices for that game.

Foden and de Bruyne were great for the goal but I thought John Stones coming into the deep lying playmaker role in midfield when we had the ball was excellent, so I’ve gone for him.

Kev was lucky to stay on but glad he did in the end but Pep could have easily taken him off during that 3 man substitution
