Atmosphere at matches

when was the last last we had a decent atmosphere it was against the rags and the time before that the rags if we had that every game opposistion players would shit themselves i know playing well and atmosphere go together but if the other 3 stands can sing against the rags they can do it every other week come on CITY
 
bollox just because only the corner stands up it dosnt mean the whole of the kippax isnt singing
 
Since all seater stadiums were introduced no league ground has anything like the atmosphere they used to, you can say that everyone manages to do it on derby day but current derby atmospheres are just like a normal league game when we had the terraces, the stadiums make it very hard to create any atmosphere why do you think german grunds retain their terraces?
 
i know weve been at COMS for a while now but you still have to ask what were the extra 10-15 thousand fans doin when we were at maine road, maybe its that? the uefa cup games are capped due to the third tiers not being open but the atmosphere is still shit then and it is only regulars who go?

i know but we could make it a little better when we start winning trophie s(dont laugh) we dont wann e be like morgue trafford

another issue i believe effects the atmosphere is the overly load pa playing music so load you cant even talk to the person sat next to you, this kill the atmosphere dead before it even starts, if you remember a game at maine road when the tanoy broke and all the fans starting bantering with the away fans both singing songs to each other and another point which seem daft is the tunnel at maine road it would be quiet until they pulled the old plastic tunnel forward and everyone knew thier hero's where about to appear, and the music would always start just before the players came out, it was like a routine, now pre-match there seems to be no plan or routine and no-body knows the whats going on.

agreed. didn't see your post as negative. it's a fact the atmosphere is largely rubbish and at times non existent. people pointing it out and trying to do something about it for the good of the fans & the players is being positive. slagging fans off for doing this is negative- so agreed, get your song book out and make a difference.
 
GET IN EXTRA BAR STAFF SO THAT FANS CAN GET A PINT AT 3 45 AND BE BACK IN THEIR SEATS AT 4 00.WE LOSE 10 MINS BEFORE AND AFTER HALF TIME WITH PEOPLE EITHER TRYING TO AVOID THE Q OR BEING STUCK IN THE Q, NOT TO MENTION THE LAST 10 MINS TRYING TO AVOID THE TRAFFIC,WHY SOME OF THESE BOTHER I DONT KNOW
