Atmosphere Feedback from the Club

We need to get well away from the away fans. They drown our singing area out (or at best make it hard for the rest of us to join in with our songs because we can’t quite hear what song is being sung). Move away from them and we will have a completely different dynamic atmosphere-wise

You have to consider the sheer lack of city fans vocal and tempo abilities. The songs are sang way too quickly in notes that the majority cant sing, thats why songs dont last very long. A few songs come to mind is the farnandinho & VK ones, they become quicker and quicker until they become raps and die off. I know ill get alot of hate but a drum would keep you all in check and get everyone in unison!

Call the South Stand the “New Kippax”. Rebrand it as the singing end. Price the season tickets at £200. Offer 1894 Group a hundred or so free season tickets at the back of the stand and let them get their people up there. Allow banners from the top tier, standing and encourage it with display type stuff in tha stand. Push it as a singing end before season ticket renewal time, offering a same
Price (£200)seat incentives to relocate out of the south stand to anybody wanting a calmer area. Try to actively encourage those in the corner lower tier Singing area across into the south stand.

Basically push it hard the south stand is THE atmosphere end and price it very very low. It would be nice to think that this could even reangage the club with a lot of lapsed local working class fans who would probably make a lot of noise anyway.

Just a few ideas. It would be a good time to implement this when a new tier opened at the opposite end, making relocation easier.

Fair enough that totally agree, most of that has been put forward but it hits a brick wall at certain levels at the club.

Be great like you say if we could hang banners, we have some great drop down banners hand painted and printed but we can only hang them for 3 or 4 minutes before KO then have to pull them away because we cant cover advertising boards. Be good if we could hang banners at the front but there is nothing there to hang them on. Virtually everything in view of tv is now snapped up as "advertising space". Hence some of the CL games we physically hold banners up on the front row during the game. We cant we just leave the area in SS1 advertising free, just that one area !

Hopefully those not wanting to sing in SS 115 / 116 are slowly moving out and can tempt some from kippax corner to come over. Eventually if family stand gets done it will be a one or two tier singing end.

I understand what fans say about going up in SS level three to sing, but security wont allow flags up there and trying to do any sort of display or player tribute is impossible. Its not everybodies cup of tea to have flags etc, but it does add to and being visual is important.

PA was it was overkill at yaya's last game & PL presentatio.

Ultimately anything suggested will have a very minute impact at best on the atmosphere, the issue isn't anything the club do, its the fans. You can have somewhere to hang a banner but it's not going to change the noise level, you can have cheaper beer, if anything thats only going to drive more people into the concourse mid-game, you can cut the music/videos pretty match, but that's not something that's stopped anybody singing etc etc. The majority of the match going fans simply don't want to sing for whatever reason and nothing city do will have a noticeable impact, it's down to the fans to put the effort in.

Getting the singing fans together is probably the only way.
