Does anybody know where you can get an additional remote? I used to know of a guy in Mossley, but lost his details.

My daughter has bought a 2012 A4 S line with only 1 key :-( This key works fine but will not activate the central locking and the car has to be locked manually. It will unlock via the remote however.

Anybody got any ideas?
Thanks

Burn it.

You do realise you posted on bm? Hoping for no "witty" replies was a long shot.

Hmmm

I was just hoping that one my fellow might be able to point me in the right direction.
Any proper help or advice would be really appreciated

Levets. Seems like she'll have to pay for a spare key through main dealer mate and that won't be cheap. Probably looking at £200 plus. My daughter had only one key when she bought a humble Suzuki and they quoted £140, so no doubt a key for an Audi will be dearer.

i wouldnt mess around with getting a cheap key fob sorted, not with all the stolen audi's in the last few years....most of those stolen have been via someone stealing the info from the key as you use it to lock/unlock the doors.

If it was me, i would make sure i get it done at audi as they may have new tech in the keys to block the keygrabber software

I can't understand why she did the deal with only one key, that doesn't work properly. Stupid
It was from a dealer as well... Stoneacre.
I read on net this morning that Timpsons have specialist centres that supply remote keys. Nearest one is Horwich I believe.

Key grabber? Not heard of that. I'm just worried that she won't be arsed getting another key... Then you can write the script.
Kids are so stupid at times.
