I keep hearing conflicting stories re: getting autographs etc. at the ground or Carrington, was also wondering if it's possible to get near Carrington for training.

Some people say you've no change whilst others seem to have had some success, any advice?

My cousin was there a few months ago and got loads of autographs. Assuming it hasn't changed since about April them I'm sure it's possible.

I use to go watch them Train a couple of years ago. Met Doug too. Not been for a while as they have put up a fence. As for the autographs I took my kids so they can get a shirt signed. Just wait outside the gates for the players to stop in there cars. All you got to do is know around what time they finish the session.

my daughter goes with her friends, as you go through the gate into carrington theres a small lay-by on the left , all autograph hunters stand there and sometimes the players stop their cars to sign and some dont,

Not so sure what it's like now but you could always wait at the gate as they drive out.

I use to get tons at Maine road. My dad use to sell programmes there so he would go in early and I would wait outside till 3 pm. Use to go to the chippy 1st then get autographs. I had all the players like 15 times over. At one point It was getting silly so I just shook there hands instead. Good times.

Bumping an old thread but can anyone shed any light on what time city usually arrive/depart at Carrington? And does anyone know if there is training this Saturday?

Not done it this season but did take my son 2 or 3 times last one. Can't say for definite but they trained roughly between 10 and 12 and left the training ground between 12 and 1. My son got loads each time and most players stop. Mancini has stopped to sign every time. Quite funny seeing him arrive on a bike but he seems to always leave in a car. I think they normally do train the day before a game but it's a gamble going there as you can never be sure. There are others who were regulars down there who might be better placed to say.

Incidentally we messed up last week away at Stoke. Last season we caught the team at Crewe Hall where they stay before Stoke away. Last Sat we went there and missed it by 5-10 mins. Coach was driving out of the place as we drove in. Son was gutted.
