automatic updates help please

can any body help please
I keep getting automatic updates on my laptop and each time it deletes my history/favourites toolbar is there a way to stop this happening because i have had to restore system to keep it three days running thanks

Depends what browser you're using. All the bookmarks are kept in a folder somewhere so just where depends on the browser. Also, if you have certain settings, for example internet settings, when you delete history it deletes all passwords, saved form data and bookmarks.

Well if its windows updates that are being applied and you are then rolling back then this will be why every few days it happens again as the syastem will probably be installing the same update again after you have removed it.

Is it pushing a new version of your Internet Explorer out to you, or is it the same browser as always.

the latest version of IE looks slightly different so you should be able to tell.
