I did wonder if they’d reduced the availability. I go from MK and there was never a problem with Virgin. Cheers anyway, at least I know I’m not going mad.....

I think that they're not really interested in football fans on their trains sadly, they're busy enough already it seems, I rarely didn't get the discount with virgin, but avanti has been far more difficult. I guess the test would be to try and get it when there's not a match, but I don't use it for any other reason.

its a pity its not LNER, they do have free booze in first class, as much as you can throw down your throat
