If that's what he thinks then the only reason for his opening salvo was to have a dig at Mancini. Pure anger out of jealousy, nothing more.

Certainly more so than the first quotes would suggest

I don't think he meant it how it comes across in those quotes on twitter as it isn't really in keeping with the rest of what he's said in that interview.

Either way i don't think anyone in the premier league has room to criticise City/Mancini at the minute as the team is currently sitting top of the league with most goals scored and least conceded so we must be doing something right. This is meant to sound arrogant though, just get sick of hearing all these people from other clubs criticising how/why city are doing things when they should get their own team sorted first.

These quotes are contradictory

And also that we "belong in Italy"

How exactly can those two statements be reconciled?
