Away fans / tourists in home sections

Most large companies try to mitigate litigation surely? I can't see a club coming out of a lawsuit where they failed duty of care very well.
It’s not great PR is it.

The last thing a club wants is for their own fan/s to take them to court, to win the case, and to open a floodgate of claims. The club would rather pay a fan off, except liability in private, along with the fan signing an NDA agreement, and the club filing the incident away quietly.

If only they were so shy when a City fans uses a few naughty words.

When you watch the highlights on telly you can see most foreign away fans smoking and boozing, they don't even give a fuck and sneak to the unofficial "Outside the bogs" section of the ground :)

And the vast majority of them took the utter piss, inside and outside.
It wasn’t on the scale of Old Trafford becoming Istanbul or Glasgow but it was bad. There was some piss taking outside but right at the away gate entrance so you expect that. That’s all I aw apart from a couple of Celtic fans getting battered but I was in with regular crowd of Blues

A record number of Blues got 3 game bans for passing tickets on to Celtic fans.

it was all over,i come down from the east, ashton, they were all over the asda forecourt and where the nexen bridge is,same after the game, threatening any one in sight, took over ss3 too

I'm on 15 pence per hour above minimum wage,NHS .
I'd be reluctant to get involved too,the stewards back than on that game v celtic would have been on the same low pay,i don't blame them.
What ever you do at the NHS to earn just above minimum wage is ridiculous.
This country needs people like you.
And as for stewards I wouldn't get stuck in for minimum wage.

I did it for the crack in the 90s

Oh Mike_F ;).
There were loads being sold outside - just depended on what you wanted to stump up
Add to that Blackburn game the amount of fake tickets that were in circulation.
My mate made a killing off making 20 at his printing job. Four of us gained entry and he sold the others.
Wow I feel like a bin dipper looking back on it. CTID
