I'm ok with away goals.
It’s not counted twice. It’s valued more than the home goal in case of a tie and rightly so. European away grounds are incredibly hard to score. Liverpool last season is a perfect example of the massive home ground advantage in Europe. Refereeing incompetency shouldn’t be a factor in deciding the rules.
Or scrap all that and treat it like a normal cup game, away goal rule is ridiculous and needless
If it’s 3:3 and one team has scored an away goal it’s counted twice that’s pretty simple The point is referee incompetence, if a an away goal has been been wrongly allowed, is a factor.
If away grounds are so hard to score at, according to you, then make all goals count double not just ones to decide the tie.
Liverpool FC were “massively” poor away from home last season in the ECL
WHat? I thought it was scrapped? Oh fuck there goes the champions league

Yes, even the champions struggle at European away grounds, hence scoring away goals being valued more.

They shouldn't be valued more, all teams know they have to score more than the other side, football is a simple game made more complicated to sell the product
I don't know why they try so hard to avoid penalties. They're the best bit.
As long as we're not playing, of course.
I think Uefa are waiting to see how many we score on the road before deciding whether they count or not.
With some of the early games it would be a blessing to have the extra time and penalties first, and if it's not sorted by, say, fifty penalties each, then play the game!
