Baby Boomers, Gen X, millennials

Looks like I managed to just scrape in as a boomer.

I might be an old **** now but at least I got to swim in the rochdale canal, dodging bags of dead cats, discarded beds and old cars.

I also got to see some great football and some great live bands.

Yeah, I might be dead before some of you cunts but you’re going to have to watch us when we’re down in the 4th division and being managed by Danny mills.

Generation X only sensible ones the rest before fucked up the world the ones after are taking us backwards

Really? I always think Boomers take a lot of flak whilst Gen X are quietly the most truly evil generation ha. Gen X benefitted from all of the same perks that Boomers got (i.e. affordable housing, free uni education etc) but also were a bit more distanced from the immediate traumas of growing up in the aftermath of ww2. And yet loads of them seem massively chippy about it and theyve given us some the worst and most destructive politicians/public figures I've seen in my lifetime so far.

Anecdotally speaking, the people with the absolute worst sense of entitlement and the most meanspiritied takes are all gen x'ers.

I say this as someone born on the millennial/gen x cusp. A xennial if you will.

Hadn't realised it was a thing until recently. I thought the "a boomer" bit was an insult related to "a gammon".
If anyone had asked me I would've assumed "millennials" were those born since 2000. Looks like even us "boomers" can still learn a thing or two.
