Back pain/sciatica

Just finished ironing amd as I moved the boiard to fold it have got a sharp pain in the lower left side of my back, hurts if I try to sit and if I cough

So nearly 5 months after my original post I have my scan results, I have a severe herniated/slipped disc, I am been referred to neuro surgery at Salford but the orthapedic specialist said this will more than likely lead to surgery! So still in pain but less severe at the moment still on lots of pain killers including patches now. Here’s hoping to get a quick result soon but a long recovery

Ha ha got too laugh otherwise I’d cry, I’ve been told it’s 60 yes sixty weeks to see a consultant, then the wait after that for an operation is unknown. Even the lady giving me the news was so apologetic, I cannot believe it myself, 6 months maybe but 14 fucking months is unreal. I’m making a last push to try and make it urgent but don’t hold out hope, so as Boris and his ilk want I’ll have to go private £7500! Yep it will make my life immeasurably better but after 35 years of paying in, the one time in need it and the NHS is fucked, can I get a refund?

That’s awful. I have it 5-6 times a year. Not the slipper disc, but I feel like crying in frustration after a 3 week bout. Wankers

If you can mate get doing core exercises as soon as you can Pilates, yoga, stretching to strengthen your core and I don’t mean sit ups. It will help in the long run and hopefully save you a lot of cash. I wish I had.

The trouble is while you have paid in for 35 years, those that have never paid a penny are in the same fucking queue.

You're right, the NHS is on its arse, just like every other public service.....this country is a shithole.
Imagine how much time and money gets wasted looking after crack head and drop outs

Not only that this pathetic government then give these crackheads and other junkies PIP and have it backdated, I work with these junkies and you’d be amazed the sums these jobless tossers get, all from the taxpayers, it’s a absolute disgrace

I had 2 to 3 months of acute pain since Christmas, off work etc. my nice physio started me on this and other similar routines.
I keep going back to this one, it's quick and simple and if I've got the time I'll do 3 in a row, back to back.
Been pain free and fighting fit since end of March.
I know everyone has different problems and everyone else seems to have different solutions but this worked for me.

Its a fucking disgrace.

You should,as a pivotal member of society who has worked his nuts off all his life and ensured the safety and wellbeing of others, who cant or dont contribute,be at the top of any waiting list.
This country does not reward the very people that make it tick,it just simply continues to drain and use them.

All the best buddy, hope things work out.
