You really think the team this coming season will resemble the one that finished that far down? Oh and he's bothered about us... apparently it's our fault he can't buy any players. I'll take that as back door victory number one this year!

No but he made that comment last season, before any of the summer transfer business, and back then he was right. That's all I'm saying. And I don't think he's too bothered about us. He's a strong squad, everyone respects his decisions, he pretty much runs things at the club, unlike at Liverpool or Chelsea..etc. He gets to decide what players to bring in and what players to get rid of. He's done an excellent job over the 20 odd years he's been a Man U manager. If he thinks his shopping is done for the summer and he's enough players, well I think people should trust his judgement. Like I said, having an excellent team is better then having an excellent bunch of individuals. You'll never win anything with a team of players only interested in themselves. Players who play for Man U see it as an honour, does Robinho feel humbled and privileged everytime he pulls on the shirt, no, it's about the money. That's why he's here.
And we've set the prize of what to spend on players too high in my opinion, no player is worth what we've been paying for them. And to be honest, if Hughes bought a big name tomorrow and Fergie bought an unknown young player, I could see our lad being a flop while Man U's scoring a Premiership winning goal for Man U. He's not an idiot.
But he's the manager of one of the biggest clubs in the world, 79,000 fans in the stadium for a home game, with some of the best young players you could find, going for their 4th title in a row, and the CL and pretty much every other trophey. Do I think he's worried about us, no. I think he's enjoying his time off before a very trying and hectic life kicks back in.
If he spent half his time worrying about us, like you seem to think he does, then there's no way he would have been successful as a mangager. You look after you're own club, you're own players.

You don't spend time worrying about a team that for all the money in the world has made a few stupid buys, I mean 10 big name, big ego forwards who will be misserable and bring a bad attitude to the camp if they're not in the squad, and then we've poor players in the back four. Right now we've no ballance to the team and something the most successful manager in England isn't going to spend time worrying over.

He worries about his own team, like we'll worry about ours. It's the way it should be.

What an absolute tosser Baconface is.

OK, his opinion, for what its worth (nothing) is that Tevez is not worth £25 million
In that case, why was the hypocritical two rashered faced cnut prepared to pay the required amount (25 million). Only to be snubbed. If he wasnt worth it, why the last minute chasing, telephoning, posturing, trying desperately to hang on to him.

TOTAL TW*T

Who cares if he thinks Tevez isnt worth 25 million as he has no clue on player values anyhow.

David Bellion - Sunderland to Manchester United (2 mil)
Eric Djemba-Djemba - Nantes to Manchester United (3.5 mil)
Kleberson - Atletico Paranaense to Manchester United (5.9 mil)
Louis Saha - Fulham to Manchester United (12.82 mil)
Alan Smith - Leeds United to Manchester United (7 mil)
Michael Carrick - Tottenham Hotspurs to Manchester United (18.6 mil)
Diego Forlan Independiente (7.5 million)
Rio Ferdinand Leeds United (30 million)
Ricardo Lopez Real Valladolid (£1.5 million)
Juan Sebastian Veron Lazio (28.1 Million)
Fabien Barthez Monaco ( 7.8 Million)
Quentin Fortune Atletico Madrid (1.5M)
Massimo Taibi Venezia (4.5M
Jesper Blomqvist AC Parma (£4.4 Million)
Anderson 14 million
Nani 11 Million

Besides, did he not bid also for Tevez only to be turned down.

No matter what he says, Tevez helped Utd greatly in the 2 years he was there, winning many tropheys so there is gratitude for you. How he got a "Sir" is beyonf me.

He says Liverpool and Chelsea will be his main rivals but I have a funny feeling he is thinking what I am thinking and that it will be Arsenal who will challenge. They always seem to do best when nobody rates them. See two seasons ago when they were top for months and when they managed to get to the champions league final. I hope out of all the teams it is Arsenal we challenge for the title when we finally do as I have no doubt we will although it would be sweet to beat the rags to it.

That could turn out to be a very good shout about Arsenal. Most of the talk seems to be about their spot in the top 4 being most under threat but Wenger is a canny fucker and it wouldn't surprise me if some of his up-and-coming players step up to the plate this season. Dislodging any of the so-called Big 4 will be difficult but I reckon the other 3 teams have significant weaknesses too - the Rags losing Ronaldo and Tevez, the Bindippers and their financial problems which seem to be hampering their transfer activity, and Chelsea with a new manager who may or may not cut it over here.

Yeah, those comments of his about Tevez don't seem to add up. While the majority of the Rags are wanking themselves silly over Tevez supposedly being the liar and that the Rags had made a genuine offer, Baconface's statement that he wasn't worth the asking price seems to tell a different story. But then he goes on to say he would've been happy to go along with the asking price even if he didn't agree with it - what sort of contradictory bullshit is that?

If anyone's the liar it's Baconface - granted he's a great manager, but I wouldn't trust the c*** as far as I could throw him.

imo Fergiescum only has a go at players and manager and clubs that he sees as a threat, so i've taken it as a compliment!! who cares what he or anybody else says - i've waited for 37 years (26 as a ST holder) for us to be able to compete consistently at this level.

Love this bit at the end:

"I am in charge of a football club that has the right philosophy. I have had fantastic moments here. I have 76,000 watching my team in every home game. I shouldn't really concern myself about another team in the same city, no matter what they do."

We shall see whisky-nose, we shall see.
we are not in the same city you thick scotch cun't!

It's Scots or Scottish by the way.

What really annoyed me was the fact that Tevez wasnt worth £25m, but he was prepared to pay it because the fans liked him. What a load of bollox. Does he really expect us to believe that he would pay over the odds for a player just cos he was a fans favoutite? He is full of shite
