I'd be happy with that, but I do think we need a top quality centre back more than we need another midfielder.

I Agree with that Vermaelen would be my choice, but cant see Arsenal selling another player to us for a long time

Bale yes, Fellaini no.

In my opinion Fellaini looks unbelievable this season because David Moyes has Everton working to his strengths perfectly.

Everton play long ball, the get the ball up to Fellaini who is one of the best controllers of the ball using his chest I have seen, he then either shoots or finds Jelavic.

We don't play that way, plus his best position is not a central midfielder as we have found out this season, he is almost like a false big man CF.

I just think if you put him in a passing team you will limit his strengths massively, the way Everton currently play is the way you have to play to get the most out of him in my opinion.

Why do you want over-hyped Bale? No thanks, we don't need a diving cheat.
He is also egoistic. Watch how he plays now, he is not playing for a team, but experimenting himself, and focused on showing off his talents. As a result, he is unbalancing the team, which is increasingly annoying. Nobody criticises him because Spurs want to sell him at a high price. 50mil ? LOL. I tell you what, the way he is playing, I don't know what manager wants him in his team.

Fellaini is also not good enough.

For god sake, why are we going for players who play for mediocre clubs?

Hooray! Someone else talking sense at last.....................

Re: Bale & Fellaini

Fellaini is one of the few CM who can imrove the current 11 IMO.

Fellaini is practically a striker for Everton. He isn't a defensive midfield or even a center midfielder anymore

Re: Bale & Fellaini

If everton lose Fellaini they will be fucked everything came through him long ball throw inns the lot think a draw was a fair result we just didnt step up

He has not played there all season, and this season has proved that his best position is behind the striker.

We need a destroyer/ playmaker.

Hve you even watched Fellaini? Hes plays basically as a striker, I would love to sign him but we need a deep lying playmaker as well.

Undecided, 2 extremely effective players of kick and rush football, but otherwise relatively limited. I think put them into our team and without a change of style, they'd become fairly average.

It'd be an expensive plan b.

Really? Fellaini completely destroyed united and is unplayable at his best and Bale is arguably the best winger in the world.

Yeah but we don't play with wingers, if Mancini wanted to we would have some in the squad already. Obviously AJ and now Sinclair were there just as a kind of wildcard to change things up.

And Fellaini, in my opinion doesn't have the passing range to play a deeper role for us, and played further forward sure he'd be useful from set-pieces and for hitting the ball long to, but he's hardly more effective than Silva and Nasri on the ground.

To sign these 2 for big money would mean a change in style, rather than improving the team with the way we currently play. I've seen Bale try and influence play more, coming inside, linking up with strikers or dropping deeper, i just don't think he's very good at it.

They're both excellent players, just not sure they'd fit in or be as influencial with us.

Bale would fit into any team in Europe so its an obvious yes, Fellaini on the other hand is a very good player but not what we need, we need pace and trickery not a plodder!

Look at his tackling and defensive stats. He can play in any position in midfield.
