Totally agree. Fjallraven are an actual serious outdoors company that just happened to become trendy - most of their stuff is very well made indeed and worth the money.

Same with Patagonia.

I was gonna buy one of the Fjallraven jackets but I couldn't get my head around what Vegetable Tanned Leather was, is it made by beating cows with sticks of celery of something ?

Haha! Not sure Balanciaga is aimed at the average Bluemoon poster.
Even I steer clear of this clobber and I do like to spend on clothes.
I’ve long since thought this brand was just a social experiment to see how fucking stupid folk are when it comes to parting with their cash.

My missus has them daft sock trainer things but knows not to wear them in my company because I rip the piss out of her.

People who wear this stuff aren't rich.

It is usually tossers up to their eyeballs in debt and wear a fashion label in order to give off the impression they're cashed to settle their own insecurities.

Don't get me wrong, there's some good quality clobber which willlast you years and is often worth paying the extra £ for (buy cheap, buy twice) but the Balenciaga stuff is just ostentatious.
