The guy is only 21. He has a lot still to learn, he's not got the best background (family life, racism etc) but he's a talent, and theres something about him which makes the majority of people smile, for example I saw this today:

I like him, give the lad some time, things can only get better. He has the potential to be one of the best in the world.

He didn't say 'fuck off Balotelli' He said 'come & join us'. He's asking Balotelli to TRY to do what Aguero did; cut the shit & embrace the club.

If Balotelli doesn't do this, he will be fucking gone by the end of the season.

Aguero has shown what a top striker, with the right attitude can look like in this team. Balotelli has talent & also has the hounour of competing for our shirt. Many other players will be happy to take over from him next season if he doesn't pull his finger out. Instead of blindly sucking Balkotelli's cock, those who are big fans of his should be agreeing with the OP.

Balo doesn't have three years to make an impact, he may not even have three games if Nasri arrives. He needs to do it now.

The OP is saying, pull your f8king finger out. I agree. It's not outright criticism! It a "look how it done chief". What I loved about watching Aguero was exactly the same thing I like about Tevez. It's the work rate. If Balotelli is to pull his finger out, he's got to raise his work rate.... that's the fucking look he had on his face, like "OMG, I gotta keep running like that"

Competition is the best thing for him. The last thing we want is for Balotelli to get complacent, so the introduction of Aguero will help him, I think.

I hope this makes Balotelli work harder and show more hungry. If he shows that, he will be our first choice striker, simple. Balotelli at his best vs Dzeko at his best and Mancini would pick Balotelli.

I'll say what a lot of us seem to say every time Balotelli comes up in conversation.

Can be great, needs time, getting on my nerves how much I feel I have to defend him, shows brilliance, FA cup performance, I hope he repays the faith I've shown in him, I still believe he has the potential for greatness.

I think that sums it up :)
