In recent years UB40 and even Slaughter and the Dogs have been involved in legal cases about name ownership.
No doubt others we don't know about.

And now the Rubettes.

I don't get it. People who are now drawing a pension and certainly looking like they do scrapping like dogs with people they've known intimately for fifty years or more.
Don't they realise how ridiculous they look to the public ?

The amount of cash that is to be had from the Rubettes and Slaughter and the Dogs must be severely limited by now , I'd suggest.
I realise many in the entertainment industry have monumental egos and often an inflated sense of their own importance but I just find it staggering that they risk going to court and losing and ending up penniless.

I can't comment on any dispute, but I know one of the Slaughter lads, was in a band with him a few years back. I've heard some great stories. Got asked if I fancied doing a bit with Slaughter II with Ed Banger but Covid happened.
