Banners - all gone for good?

Can't see it mentioned anywhere else, but noticed the Bluemoon thanks banner, Sixth day, Mercer and Allison etc banners all gone last night.

Any ideas why, or if they'll come back?

They had to be humiliatingly taken down when united won the league last year.

I was going to ask the same thing - really disappointed to see such significant banners disappear, but it could just be a 'first game' thing?

There seemed to be fewer banners last year than the year before and now the same again, unless this is a temporary thing.

Wouldn't surprise me....price we have to pay it seems. That singer was cringeworthy yesterday and as for those flag wavers? wtf is that all about? I am sure some marketing company somewhere has come up with the notion that this is what fans want.

It is - sadly marketing companies get to pitch and gullible middle age decision makers think they are out of touch and go with the utter drivel they espouse. The fact is they are more out of touch than those they are pitching to.
Would it be beyond the wit of the club to find some sane bloggers/posters on the fan sites who have a modicum of intelligence and get their ideas? We're not all neanderthals to be kept under the control of the hi vis army; and you could save a lot of money.

I was disappointed to see all the banners had been taken down. They certainly didn't inform us regarding the three Bluemoon banners. Hope to see them back for the Hull game.
