Looks like they'll now fail ffp as Uefa put it on hold whilst Barca appealed.
Haaland, Bernie, the tea lady still signing ? Yeh right.
It also puts Chelseas hotel deal in doubt.
I'm not sure if it effects Chelsea's deal as that was a physical asset sell for a one hit cash injection which is perfectly fine. What Barca did was sell off future revenue which is a completely different kettle of fish and of much higher risk

My understanding is that UEFA wouldn't accept the Chelsea deal anyway as FFP excludes intra-group transactions.CAS have thrown out their TV rights deal.

I'd say they deliberately falsified their accounts. If they sold something over a ten year period, then even I know that should be accounted for on an annual basis for each of those ten years, even if there was an upfront payment for 100% of the deal.you mean one of the levers they pulled was a trap dop that they were stood on.

And they got a sub-€1m fine for that whereas we were fined €10m for non-cooperation in a case we'd been cleared of wrongdoing. Hope UEFA take them to the cleaners when they fail FFP.

I've not read up on the Barca case but I think it said intangible assets, rather than tangible ones.True, perhaps i should have said put the final nail in the coffin for Chelsea as they now know they cannot go to CAS.

I'd say united have more to worry about, as most of their squad are intangible.
