Never heard of it before, but a search on Google suggests that it is malware of some variety. Use a decent free malware removal program, such as Malwarebytes (google it to find the free download). Make sure the program has the latest definition updates before you run it, as this program (bardiscover) has only been around since March by all accounts. See if that picks it up. If not it sounds like it may be an executable file (.EXE). See if it is listed in your installed programs list, and uninstall it. Failing that, try a windows search for the .EXE file, and delete it manually. May have to do this in safe mode, or use ctrl+alt+del to see if the program is running, and close it before deleting. One website posted this;
BARDISCOVER.EXE can also use the following file names:
* BARDISCOVER113.EXE
* BARDISCOVER122.EXE
* BARDISCOVER112.EXE
* BARDISCOVER121.EXE
* BARDISCOVER115.EXE
* BARDISCOVER121.EXE-VIR
* 58235566.EXE
Have a butchers for anything like that, and get rid. After you've deleted it, run a registry scan (plenty of freebies out there).
Be careful when you install certain programs, as sometimes they come bundled with all sorts of bollox that you don't want, and you may have to check or uncheck a tickbox to stop them installing such things as toolbars etc.
Hope you get shot of it.
