I've watched about a dozen Burnley games and Manuel Benson cost about 4M from Dutch club PEC Zwolle last summer. He's a right wing bag of tricks, has a good burst of speed, can dribble and scores some cracking goals. He'd thrive in our team. It won't be long before the big clubs put a bid in for him. I think we would be wise to sign him and loan them Palmer for a season.

Even if Phillips doesn't ultimately work out (and who really knows what's going to happen there probably only Pep and co) the recruitment & release operation still has a lot of credit in the bank of late.
